A large chunk of commercial property in the centre of Ipswich has been sold to Gentian Developments, a Winchester based investor, for just over £1 million through Penn Commercial.

The town centre property, which is known as 3-5 Princes Street and 4-6 Queen Street, is close to the Buttermarket and Cornhill shopping and commercial areas and has a number of tenants including Enterprise Inns, Ladbrokes Betting & Gaming and Employment Specialists Ltd, generating an annual rent of approximately £90,000.

Vanessa Penn of Penn Commercial who advised on the purchase, said “We were instructed by Gentian who were seeking suitable town centre properties in Ipswich. We identified this as an off-market opportunity and both vendor and purchaser are more than satisfied with the outcome.”

A further property in Ipswich has been sold to investors through Penn Commercial. This is a shop at 57/57a Garrick Way with a first floor flat at 55a Garrick Way.
