Suffolk Chamber of Commerce in Haverhill & District is calling on local businesses to take advantage of a unique event aimed at helping them secure contracts with some of the region’s largest organisations.
The leading business organisation is hosting a Meet the Buyer Business Brunch on Friday 24 November at which speakers from Abbeycroft Leisure, RAF Lakenheath and global healthcare business Sanofi will be demonstrating how they manage their supply chains – and how smaller firms can take advantage of these opportunities.
According to Kayleigh Streeton, events coordinator at Suffolk Chamber in Haverhill & District “this event is in response to requests from many of our members keen to land contracts with major organisations but who are uncertain how to go about it.”
Paul Donno, chair of Suffolk Chamber in Haverhill & District added “building a commercial relationship with larger organisations can at first sight seem slightly bewildering, but once the rules of engagement are understood such opportunities can produce significant business dividends.”
“To have representatives from three of the largest organisations in the area under one roof outlining how they manage their supply chains is likely to be of relevance to most SMEs in the Haverhill area. This is a unique opportunity for them to crack the supply chain conundrum.”
