Skinner’s Pet Foods were proud sponsors of Champions Tennis last week which saw the likes of Tim Henman, Tommy Haas and John McEnroe take the stage of the Royal Albert Hall. This was not just any tennis event, each day the audience were treated to a break from the ball girls and boys and instead were greeted with the furry faces of four dogs from Canine Partners.

Canine Partners is a registered charity that assists people with physical disabilities to enjoy a greater independence and quality of life through the provision of specially trained dogs, whose well-being is a key consideration. Over the past 28 years the charity has provided and trained more than 750 dogs that help disabled people including over 400 that are active today.

Nicola Martin, Canine Partners CEO said, “On behalf of everyone at Canine Partners, I cannot thank the team at Champions Tennis and those at Skinners enough for allowing us this outstanding opportunity. Our ‘ball dog’ premiere was a super success and our dogs and handlers simply had the best time. Not only were we proud that they all performed so well but we have been delighted to hear all the lovely feedback from members of the public following the event. We hope that our ‘ball dogs’ can return once more to the court in 2019 and look forward to seeing what extra tasks they can help out with next time. Their talents don’t just stop at delivering water bottles and towels!”

William Delamore, Sales & Marketing Director for Skinner’s Pet Foods said, “What an event. We have thoroughly enjoyed sponsoring Champions Tennis, the atmosphere in The Royal Albert Hall was spectacular and everyone who attended from Skinner’s had a fantastic time watching the tennis and cheering on the ball-dogs, a part everyone from Skinner’s were very much looking forward to!”

The Field & Trial Range comprises of 19 different diets ranging from Puppy to Adult, including 9 different hypoallergenic diets suitable for dogs with allergies and intolerances, including the latest addition Field & Trial Grain Free Chicken & Sweet Potato. Whatever the age, breed or activity level there is a Skinner’s diet to suit.
