BSP appoints two new directors

Great Blakenham based, BSP International Foundations, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of hydraulic piling hammers and dynamic compaction equipment has announced two new director appointments to the company’s board of directors.

Ray Ransome, formerly senior sales manager, becomes Sales Director. In his new position Ray will be responsible for developing the Ipswich-based company’s sales in the UK and Ireland together with a number of important overseas markets that includes India and Latin America.

Tony Mallett, formerly manufacturing manager, becomes Manufacturing Director. In his new position Tony will be responsible for all the company’s manufacturing operations including developing existing facilities and introducing new manufacturing techniques as and when appropriate.

Both Directors will report to Managing Director Richard Melton. Commenting on the appointments Richard says: “I am delighted to welcome Ray and Tony to the BSP’s board of directors. Ray’s deep knowledge of the UK, Latin America and other international markets will further enhance BSP’s ability to pursue opportunities in the civil engineering and deep foundation industries.

Tony has over 30 years of manufacturing experience working in various capacities that have included Ransomes in Ipswich, Bosch in Stowmarket and ATC in Great Blakenham prior to joining BSP. This overall experience and knowledge will ensure the company continues to be a safe and successful business delivering high quality products and services to the industries we serve.
