Celebrating excellence in the East of England
The IoD Director of the Year awards provide a prime opportunity for the success stories of British business to be brought to a national audience. These awards seek to highlight this contribution and uncover the business leaders making a difference up and down the country.
Each IoD region has its own Director of the Year awards with the winners from each category automatically entered into the national finals, which will be held on Friday 18 October at the Brewery, London. The categories for 2019 represent the core areas of business and the judging process was completed by a panel of recognised and respected industry leaders, who not only understood the challenges faced by business leaders, but also the challenges of doing business across the East of England.
The IoD East of England Awards lunch was held on Friday 14 June at the Jockey Club Rooms in Newmarket, and the 100 plus guests were entertained by an emotional and inspiring presentation from local racehorse trainer and vet, Ilka Gansera-Leveque.
