Since it was established in 2021, the business has grown 370%, expanding from two staff members to 10 and achieving a record turnover for the business in 2023.

This success has enabled us to deliver access solutions across a diverse range of sectors, including education, healthcare, and residential.

With 1 in 4 people having a disability in the UK, it’s important that appropriate measures are taken to ensure places are accessible to all. At Nexus Ramps, we are passionate about providing access options for those with disabilities, whether it’s enabling them to get out of their houses or access commercial or healthcare buildings, so they can lead as normal a life as possible.

Based in Lowestoft, we offer comprehensive services across East Anglia for supply, rental, and installation. Our ramps are designed for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, walking frames, and all mobility devices, and the flexibility of the systems allows for easy assembly, disassembly, and reconfiguration, eliminating the need for disruptive demolition work.

Be At Home

Our continuing commitment to ‘make East Anglia accessible’ is evident through our involvement in the ‘Be At Home’ services. This initiative – developed by Great Yarmouth Borough Council, in partnership with the NHS, Great Yarmouth and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group, Norfolk County Council, East Suffolk Council, and Suffolk County Council – is designed to help residents live safely in their homes. The service aims to:

• Help facilitate early discharge from hospital.
• Prevent falls.
• Prevent hospital admission by undertaking fast track home adaptations.

With its recent growth, Nexus Ramps now operates six vans in East Anglia, all equipped to deliver vital hospital discharge work, including the installation of grab rails and bannisters, half steps, shallow steps, and level access doors.

Our service ensures that individuals can return home safely with sustainable wheelchair access, alleviating delays in hospital discharge and enhancing the quality of life for many.

Commercial and residential

Nexus Ramps provides a wide range of products to ensure accessibility for all, including modular ramps, wet rooms, low threshold doors, pathways, threshold ramps, step units, and grab rails. All of these are crafted with a focus on user experience, compliance, and safety.
