East Anglian HR consultancy MAD-HR has continued the expansion of its senior team, with the appointment of experienced HR manager and trainer, Sophie Hughes.

Taking a lead role in delivery for Suffolk-based clients, Sophie has considerable experience across recruitment, performance management and employee engagement.

Having previously worked for IPRS Group, she has a particular passion for supporting firms with delivering appropriate mental health and wellbeing strategies.

Carole Burman, Managing Director of MAD-HR, says her appointment is in line with the company’s continued expansion in the East of England.

“Following such an incredibly busy year for MAD-HR, in which we were able to help many new and existing clients navigate the complex road through the pandemic, we’re delighted to be welcoming Sophie to the team.

“Her experience and passion will be a huge asset in the year ahead, as we continue our growth throughout the region and support of companies of all scale, the other side of Covid.”

Sophie commented: “MAD-HR has always had such an exceptional reputation in the region for its work with businesses across all scale and sector, so I am incredibly proud to become part of their consultancy team.

“I’m looking forward to getting to know our clients and helping them explore strategies and solutions which are perfect for them in a post pandemic era.”
