Chartered accountancy firm opens new office in Norwich

Ensors Chartered Accountants has announced the opening of a new regional office in Norwich city centre.

This is the seventh office in the region for the accountancy firm which has been supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across a number of sectors for over 130 years. From individuals to large corporate business, the practice provides a comprehensive range of services and accountancy specialisms from its offices in Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Huntingdon. Ipswich, Saxmundham and London. The new premises will be located at St James Court in the heart of the city and will mark an important milestone in the firm’s illustrious history.

The office will initially focus on corporate clients and will scale to a full service offering in the coming months. The firms’ advisory teams will also operate from Norwich and build on their growing networks in the area. Joining them will be tax experts, covering both private client and corporate tax. This will expand the reach of the firms presence to Norfolk, in addition to their well-established branches across Suffolk and Cambridgeshire

In the development of a new regional office, the firm have attracted a number of new senior hires. Corporate Partner Keith Ferguson joined the practice in November 2023 following an extensive and influential career of over 20 years in East Anglia. Prior to joining Ensors, Keith led a top five accountancy practice’s Business Assurance Team and served in key financial leadership. Whilst he will be based in the Ipswich office, he will be on hand to support the new Norwich office in its launch.

Ensors have also welcomed Jamie Waller to support the firm’s expansion. As a native to Norwich, his experience and knowledge of the local area will provide exemplary standards for the office. He is joined by Senior Manager Stephanie Cotton, who will assist in overseeing the corporate offering.
