Financial Planning: EAFP

EAFP was established to provide personalised independent financial advice and investment management solutions to businesses across East Anglia, as well as individuals and families, with the focus being on offering a bespoke, holistic service. It’s an approach led from the top by our eight directors who consist of five advisers, a head of compliance and two founders; all supported by professional, experienced paraplanners and office staff.

We are now an 18-strong team, based at Lodge Park Business Centre, a high-quality business centre in Langham, Colchester, with easy access to the A12 and ample parking. Three new members joined early this year, followed by seven more in May, with a further two joining this summer.

Dedicated to clients

From the outset, we have been dedicated to helping our clients achieve their financial goals by providing tailored solutions, backed by the highest level of service and support. With a combined 100 years of experience in advising clients, we’re committed to providing comprehensive financial planning services that meet specific needs – from pensions and investment management to retirement planning and financial planning in the case of divorce.

Central to our way of working is getting to understand the needs and goals of each client. We also take a holistic approach, working with fellow professionals, solicitors, and accountants to fully harness the combination of sound financial expertise and knowledge with equally robust legal and tax advice.

Committed to good service

We are very proud of our achievement of Corporate Chartered Status, a benchmark of good practice, demonstrating our commitment to the industry’s ethical code that underpins our broader professional values.

Among our commitments is putting customers’ interests first, investing in ongoing development of our team’s technical skills and knowledge, and supporting wider initiatives that benefit the community as well as the growth of our profession. We are also signed up to the Personal Finance Society’s independent Financial Vulnerability Taskforce, which aims to establish good practice among personal financial professionals in respect of people who find themselves in vulnerable circumstances.
