It was acquired by Mosaic Spa & Health Clubs in 2021, and since then, it has been transformed into a sophisticated wellness destination, providing state-of-the-art facilities and a wide range of treatments and experiences.
The Riverhills Spa team demonstrated extraordinary resilience, professionalism, and dedication following a devastating fire in June 2023, which caused significant damage to the spa. The team maintained exceptional service while the spa underwent a £6 million redevelopment. Therapists delivered treatments across alternative locations, collaborated closely with management and partners, and contributed to innovative concepts such as ‘Book Time, Not Treatments’, which allows guests to select treatments on arrival. Their commitment to mentorship, continuous training, and inclusivity has helped shape the newly transformed Riverhills Spa into a stunning wellness destination.
Riverhills is also committed to growing its spa team by investing in local talent and supporting the community. A long-standing partnership with Suffolk New College has created exciting career opportunities for graduates, with three newly qualified therapists recently joining the spa team. This collaboration includes mentoring, hands-on in-house training, and access to industry-recognised courses. By investing in the next generation of therapists, Riverhills ensures that both its team and the wider community benefit.
