The East Anglia-based team joined 8,500 runners on the streets of Norwich for the city’s flagship 10k race, passing iconic landmarks including The Forum, Norwich Castle and Carrow Road. The Lovell team included senior management as well as both office based and site staff, many of whom have supported the company’s fundraising efforts year after year.
Lovell has backed the Foundation since 2019, helping fund inclusive sport, education and health programmes across Norfolk. Over the past two years alone, the company has now raised over £10k through running and cycling events and this year’s race added another proud chapter to support the events 10th anniversary – with every penny going directly to the Foundation.
The Norwich City Community Sports Foundation is the official charity of Norwich City Football Club, dedicated to transforming lives across Norfolk and North Suffolk through the power of sport. With a focus on inclusion, mental wellbeing and opportunity, the Foundation delivers high-impact programmes for people with disabilities, from disadvantaged communities and those facing social isolation.
Operating from its award-winning hub – The Nest – supported by a network of volunteers, partners and players, the Foundation engaged over 45,000 participants last year, generating more than £63 million in social value and reaffirming its role as a catalyst for hope, health, and community connection. The Nest is also used by local businesses to host events, providing another way for the community to support the Foundation. Lovell choose to hold annual staff briefings and the Supply Chain Conferences within The Nest, further strengthening its ties with the foundation.
