About Juliette

I am an Ipswich girl, born and bred. I first went into the beauty industry when I was 14 years old and have worked all over the world during my 45-year career, including America, Russia, and the Baltic.

I started my own business 25 years ago, progressing from beauty therapist through to my role today – running an aesthetic laser skin clinic based on Tuddenham Road in Ipswich.

Our team of fully trained, experienced, and qualified aesthetic practitioners carry out no fewer than 72 different skin treatments – from laser hair removal and non-surgical lifts to medical micro-pigmentation and skin resurfacing – and we are continually investing in high-end, state-of-the-art procedures.

My life has been dedicated to the business and raising my three sons: Jack (24), Tommy (21), and Max (19). Now I am an empty nester, I plan to spend more time learning to play golf and travelling.

Describe yourself in three words?

Confident. Focused. Empathetic.

What was your first job?

At 14, I worked in a beauty salon in Ipswich. The owner used to send me to London every fortnight for private tuition with International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC) examiners.

How do you spend your leisure time?

Learning property strategies, playing golf, karate, and salsa dancing.

What is your go-to comfort food?

Red wine, rhubarb gin, and chocolate.

What temptation can’t you resist?

Red wine, rhubarb gin, and chocolate!

Where are you happiest?

At home surrounded by family, or dancing, drinking red wine, and eating chocolate.

What is your number one karaoke song?

Very cheesy answer, but ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ by Cyndi Lauper.

At school, what were you good at?

Mostly socialising, but also anything sporty – sprinting and hockey for example.

What frustrates you?

Entitled, selfish people.

What would be your plan B as a career?

Property developer.

Which one luxury could you not live without?

Fake eyelashes.

Which three people dead or alive would you invite as dinner guests?

American coach and speaker, Tony Robbins, the actor, Tom Hardy, and (if it counts as one) the Foo Fighters…as long as they cooked and washed up, otherwise we would have a takeaway.

If you could time travel, where would you go and why?

I would travel back to when my mum was still with us and my three boys were little. Day trips out by the sea with picnics or at theme parks. Just Mum, Dad, the boys, and me. Time goes so quickly and you don’t realise how those simple times are the most special.

What poster did you have on your bedroom wall as a child?

Bruce Lee – Enter the Dragon.

Favourite TV programme?

Race Across the World.

How do you de-stress?

Once a week, I close the clinic and lock the door, then the team and I do karate and kickboxing. It helps relieve the stress of a busy week.
