The business had been steadily growing prior to the start of CovId19 and was operating at capacity. This meant that the search for new premises, and recruitment processes had already been started.
However, as soon as the government announced lockdown, the Your Telemarketing team all moved to work remotely, and expansion plans were put on hold. Since then the business has been impacted by loss of revenue and some staff were furloughed. Yet Laura firmly believes that this is only a short term issue and that the business will regain its former strength. To that end, she implemented her plans to move into larger premises.
“The new offices create an improved working environment, with more space to work in, but also a small area for the team to relax in during breaks,” said Laura.
“It also enables very effective social distancing so that we can start to work from the office again as allowed”.
Your Telemarketing has already started to see some their clients return and Laura is quietly optimistic that some confidence to trade is resuming in the economy.
“My team are desperate to get back to work, even if this means that they continue to work from home for all, or part of the time. Our systems and processes fully support remote working which means we can help employees who still have children at home to work in a way that suits their family.”
