Ten years ago, at the age of 23, I started the business from my car, determined to create a leading provider of digital marketing solutions. I felt there was a gap in the market for bottom line driven, dependable digital solutions for SMEs, and my idea was to create a company that operated differently to the status quo, proactively driving tangible, transparent results for our clients.

Today, thanks to the shared vision of a passionate team, that idea has grown into an organisation worthy of its very own, brand new, million-pound office.

Our real estate journey

As a company, our growth can in many ways be tracked by our physical journey. Having moved from our first office at The Buntings in Stowmarket to Needham Market in 2020, we are now ready for a dedicated HQ that sets the tone for the future of Unity Online.

Located at The Chesters, Needham Market, the standalone office is the ultimate celebration of a decade in business. Filled with natural light and surrounded by plenty of green space, it sets the tone for our commitment to the wellbeing of our ever-expanding team, and while it is an unequivocally beautiful space to spend time, it is also one in which we can scale our services without limitation.

It is a bricks and mortar statement of our unwavering investment in innovation, progress and the value of a holistic digital marketing service rooted in commercial pragmatism – a solid reassurance to all our clients that we back ourselves as the company to drive them forward.

The work behind the progress

Of course, this new space is also a tribute to the consistency, grit and drive of the team and every individual within it. It’s a purchase that represents thousands of phone calls, sales meetings, consultations and client meetings, not to mention more than 500 projects delivered to date.

Alongside Unity Online’s lifelong journey so far has been the process of obtaining, financing and fitting out our new space. That has been an experience in itself, and one that was only achievable through a collective effort.

Every stage of the business’s development gives me a new opportunity to learn, and what has certainly been clear in periods where I have had my own time divided more than usual between daily operations and business development, is that Unity Online is what it is because of the team. Our successes, including our move to our new office, are always a group effort, and I am both proud and humbled to be surrounded by such an energetic and talented team.
