Health & Wellbeing: Wellbeing International
That’s why we offer a one-of-a-kind, tailored approach to effectively boost wellbeing, productivity and confidence.
All these factors are proven to help improve the way you present to your clients, as well as increase your chances of attracting and retaining talent.
Testimony of need
Recent statistics on high stressors and mental health struggles within the legal environment reveal that there is a clear need to address such challenges. JMC Legal Recruitment have pointed to the fact that “28% of solicitors have experienced depression”, while Thomson Reuters revealed that, of lawyers, “46% say that they are considering leaving the profession due to stress or burnout.”
“Much of the stress,” Karen Jackson, CEO at Didlaw Ltd, explains, “is driven by the fear that if you admit to struggling you will be seen as weak and weeded out.”
Alarmingly, the legal tech company Clio discovered that “many solicitors and lawyers turn to alcohol to manage stress and burnout”, and that “the effects of stress are much more pronounced for partners and younger members of the team”.
It’s time to uphold good wellbeing habits and build a confident, safe environment that allows everyone to unlock their personal and professional potential.
Wellbeing, the right way

WellBeing International has just launched its East Anglia-based ‘WellBeing for Lawyers Programme’. Delivered by myself and Rhian Morallee (pictured), our gender neutral, six-week programme is based on the culmination of the latest science and more than 25 years of well-researched self-care methods. Rhian’s legal and business background, having worked for 20 years as an employment solicitor, has given her a wide range of invaluable insights into the impact of personal wellbeing on the legal sector.
Our holistic approach puts in place a range of simple but effective lifestyle changes that enable lawyers to take their wellbeing to the next level. Participants will leave with a tailormade plan geared to both their strengths and growth areas, thus helping them to avoid burnout, take charge and thrive.
Anthony Seale, of Legatics, emphasises: “Firms need to prioritise providing the right tools, systems and resources to support and improve their teams’ health and happiness, and empower them to be the best that they can be.”
And here at WellBeing International, we offer just that.
Our six-week wellbeing schedule focuses on the essentials: the science of stress, resilience, emotional intelligence, building confidence, creating positive new habits at work and at home, and developing your own personalised wellbeing strategy.
Join us Wednesdays on Zoom, from 1-2pm, starting October 8. The investment is £795 per place, and UK Director magazine readers are entitled to a 10% discount by quoting ‘Autumn25DirectorBoostYou’.
