Visitors can again marvel at thousands of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes, warts and all, waiting to be picked just in time for Halloween. There are over 20 different varieties of pumpkins, gourds and squashes to choose from and load into loaned wheelbarrows.
There is plenty more to enjoy, with room for children to run and climb straw bales, space to picnic, deckchairs, sandpits, ice cream, pedal tractors and small pumpkin games for the family, as well as face painting, lots of fabulous photo opportunities and a delicious array of food trucks including a bar.
Picnicking is encouraged and the wonderful Wrights are back with their posh toasties and licensed bar, along with Chestnut Trailers for waffles and Shakes, What the Peck for Suffolk fried chicken, Pimp my Fish, Bad Boi Burritos, Tikka Tonic for Delhi style street food, Suffolk Smoke Company for loaded fries, and Saffron Artisan Ice Cream. FACE IT FACE PAINTING SUFFOLK will be creating face art for £5 per face (age 3 and over)
Late night pumpkin picking
On two spooky Saturday evenings – October 12th and 26th – the Rougham Pumpkin Patch will stay open from 5:30pm to 9.30pm for a fabulous pumpkin festival at night. Visitors are encouraged to bring their torches and wear wellies for those evenings. With twinkly lights, fire pits, S’mores for toasting, music and tasty food provided by Wrights and What The Peck (no pre-booking for food needed), these evenings promise to be a lot of fun.
Silent Disco
For extra magic, there will be a chance to boogie on down to a silent disco held in the marquee. Headsets are limited; reserve them through Eventbrite – £5/adult, free for children, but visitors are reminded to reserve the headset to avoid disappointment:
