Adnams celebrates multiple accolades for Ghost Ship

Southwold based brewer, Adnams, is celebrating a string of new accolades and awards for its Ghost Ship family of products.

The company has this week scooped two category trophies in the SIBA East Independent Beer Awards.

Its Ghost Ship in cask was named category winner for ‘Cask Pale Ale’, while its Ghost Ship Alcohol Free secured the category win in ‘Keg Non-Alcoholic and Low ABV,’ in the eastern regional competition.

Adnams was this week also declared among the best in a trio of categories in the World Beer Awards.

Ghost Ship Alcohol Free took silver in the No and Low Alcohol Pale category, while its 4.5% Ghost Ship Pale Ale took bronze in the American Style Pale Ale category, and its Double Ghost IPA in the American Style IPA category.

Dan Gooderham, Head Brewer of Adnams, said: “Both on a regional level, and on the world stage, these accolades are a real testament to the work which goes into producing outstanding ales which consumers really enjoy.

“As a team, we’re enormously proud to have another set of great awards from two very different judging events, and it makes it even more special that we are now about to mark 15 years since introducing the Ghost Ship brand to our business.”
