Taking place at Trinity Park, Ipswich, on Thursday 10th September 2026, the event brings together businesses from across Suffolk for a day of friendly competition, team building and networking, all while raising vital funds for local charity Home-Start Suffolk.
Focusing on fun and laughter
Designed to boost team spirit and workplace wellbeing, Suffolk Sports Day combines nostalgic sports day races with exciting challenges and activities suitable for all abilities.
Teams can look forward to classic races including the egg and spoon race, sack race and three-legged race, alongside a variety of team-building challenges that encourage communication, collaboration and plenty of laughter.
Participants will also have the opportunity to try individual activities such as axe throwing, archery and climbing, while team games of rounders ensure there is something for everyone throughout the day.
The emphasis is very much on participation, fun and team spirit rather than athletic ability.

Supporting families across Suffolk
Home-Start Suffolk is a local charity supporting families throughout Suffolk through volunteer support, early intervention services and community-based programmes designed to help parents give their children the best possible start in life.
Every team taking part will help Home-Start Suffolk continue its work supporting families facing challenging circumstances across the county.
The charity provides early intervention support to families, helping prevent difficulties from escalating into crisis. Funds raised through Suffolk Sports Day help to:
- Support families before challenges become overwhelming
- Provide trusted, compassionate and non-judgemental volunteer support
- Improve outcomes for children and parents
- Build stronger and more resilient communities
