Suffolk Chamber Prestige Dinner

Presenter, writer and broadcaster Clare Balding has been confirmed as the guest speaker at the next Suffolk Chamber of Commerce Prestige Dinner to be held on 17 September 2020 at Milsoms Kesgrave.

Clare Balding is probably best known for being both a TV and radio presenter for some of the most important sporting events of recent decades, including the Olympics and Paralympics, as well as key national events such as the Lord Mayor’s Show and Trooping the Colour.

She also presents the walking programme Ramblings on BBC Radio 4 and is an acclaimed author of children’s books.

John Dugmore, Suffolk Chamber’s chief executive, was delighted at the news that Clare had confirmed her appearance: “Our Prestige Dinner is quite simply the best of the best business event in the Suffolk calendar.

“The whole idea behind Suffolk Chamber’s Prestige Dinners is to provide the perfect environment within which our members and their guests can spend quality time together in first-class locations, over the best food and drink the county can offer whilst listening to some extraordinarily talented speakers.

“Having Clare as the guest speaker this year makes this an especially exciting and interesting prospect. I’m sure this will be a sell-out event within a very short period of time as soon as the tickets are available.”

In previous years Suffolk Chamber has hosted a number of incredibly successful Prestige Dinners with over 200 guests attending each event. Guest have been entertained by high-profiled, knowledgeable and entertaining speakers: Justin Urquhart-Stewart, one of the most recognisable and trusted media commentators on the world of high finance, well-known political commentator and author, John Sergeant and most recently Ben Fogle, the high-profiled author and adventurer.

The 2020 Prestige Dinner offers an even wider range of sponsorship opportunities than previous events, allowing a range of local businesses the opportunity to associate their brand with such an exciting and dynamic personality as Clare Balding.
